What types of products are sold on 3pins.co.uk?
3pins.co.uk sells graded stock. All  TVs come semi-packed and have an unmarked screen. The casing is usually in an unmarked condition but on rare occasions there may be very minor superficial cosmetic hairline scratches. These are ignorable and will not be anything to distract your viewing pleasure, usually very minor, only seen when you physically stand right infront of the TV and inspect it closely. Our engineers will test the TVs to ensure they are technically perfect and then they are repackaged with a full 12 months warranty.

We have 6 branches conveniently located across the country where you can collect your purchase from:

Upon purchasing your item, please select one of the branches where you would like to collect from and we will arrange for the TV to be available for collection at your selected depot. For more information on branch addresses please see the "Store Locator" tab.

 

What happens when I go to collect my TV?
The tv will be demonstrated to you at the collection depot.  Please check the tv and sign the collection note to confirm you have collected your tv.  You will be asked to bring the card you have used to pay with plus one form of ID, which must have your name and card billing address details on. 


If I am not happy with my TV on collection can I have a refund?
Yes, we want our customers to be 100% happy with their purchase, so if when you go to collect your TV you are not happy we will give you a full refund. You will be given a full demonstration of the TV on collection so you have a chance to make sure you are satisfied before you take the TV away.


How can I pay for my goods?
You can pay online using all major credit and debit cards. All personal information, including your card details, names and addresses are encrypted by our secure servers.
 
Alternatively you can ring our sales team on 0121 328 8063 to for your purchase over the phone.
 
We accept all cards. There are no extra charges if you pay by credit card.

You can also pay for goods offline by cheque or by bank transfer. Goods will only be dispatched once cheques have cleared.


How long will 3pins hold the TV for me before I collect it?
Our 6 collection depots are open on different days and different times, view the 'store locator' for opening times and addresses.  Collection lead times are generally within 7 working days for all in stock items and we will email you to confirm your TV is ready for collection. This information is also accessible on our 'order status' section.  We will hold the TV at your chosen branch for 2 weeks before it is sent back to Birmingham distribution warehouse. If you cannot collect within 2 weeks please let us know.


Do you deliver goods?
We do not offer a delivery service, however there are 6 conveniently located collection depots across the country where you can collect your purchase. Please use the store locator to select the collection depot most convenient to you.


What do I need to take with me when I go to collect my purchase?
Please bring the  following with you when you come to collect your item;

1) Payment method- please bring the card you have used to pay with
 
2) Proof of name and  address - Please bring one form of ID with your name and card billing address details on, e.g.  bank/card statement, utility bill, full driving license (not provisional  license). Please note a passport is not an acceptable form of ID because it  does not have your address on it.


Can I send a courier to collect a TV?
3pins.co.uk do not allow couriers to collect any purchase from us on your behalf. This is because we always demonstrate the TV on collection for your peace of mind, and we also check your ID to ensure we are handing the TV over to the right person.


How do I search for a product?
There are 4 ways you can search a product on the home page

1)     To search by model number  use the  "search by model number" function (left on home page)

2)     To search by specific brand use the "Search by Brand" function (left on home page)

3)     To search by brand and screen size use the "Quick Search" (left on home page)

4)     To search using brand, screen size and features use the "Advanced Search". This is the most detailed way to search (left on home page).
 
You can also click on LED, LCD, or Plasma on the top left of the screen and compare two or more televisions on screen, picture, audio and connectivity. This is an excellent new feature added to the site to help make choosing your tv simpler and hassle free!

What do I do should I have a complaint?
In the unlikely event that you feel dissatisfied with any part of our service then please contact us by telephone on 0871 873 1259 or email us on support@3pins.co.uk.

There are 3 easy ways to buy:


Home delivery:

- We have now started delivering right to your door! Alternatively you can collect free of charge from one of our 7 branches (see steps below)

- Not all items are available for home delivery, however, for example plasma televisions due to weight restrictions and clearance items. Items available for home delivery will have the 'delivery available' icon visible on the specific product page just above the price.

- You can pay in full online and follow the steps on the website, charges will be added to your order when 'standard delivery' option is selected.

- Alternatively, you can pay in full over the phone via our sales team available on 0121 327 3273.

- Delivery can take a minimum of 2 working days, depending on stock availability.

Please note: We can only deliver to the card billing address for security reasons. If delivery address and card address do not match we may ask to see ID to confirm your identity and/or address. This can be done by via email.


Pay online and collect:

- Click on "Buy Now" which will take you to the shopping basket. Follow the details online.

- You will be asked to select 1 of the 6 3Pins depots from where you would like to collect your TV (see the 'Store Locator' on the bottom right corner of the website for more details on the 6 3Pins locations).

- Follow the step by step payment pages to complete your order.

- We will transfer your TV free of charge to your chosen 3Pins depot and will telephone you to arrange a mutually convenient time for you to collect your purchase. You should take the card you paid with, and proof of name and address details with you when you go to collect (driving license/house bill/bank statement). The TV will be demonstrated to you and then it is yours to take away!

Please note: Failure to produce the card and relevant ID means we are unable to release goods on collection.


Or


Pay a deposit over the phone and remaining balance on collection:

- Ring our dedicated sales team on 0121 327 3273 (During office hours Monday-Saturday 9am-5.30pm) to pay a £50 deposit by credit/debit card over the phone. This will reserve the TV for you.

- We will transfer the TV free of charge to your choice of 3Pins depot and will telephone you to arrange a mutually convenient time for you to collect your purchase.

- You can pay the balance on collection by cash or credit/debit card. You should take the card you paid with and proof of name and address details with you when you go to collect (driving license/house bill/bank statement). The TV will be demonstrated to you and then it is yours to take away! Please note: Failure to produce the card and relevant ID means we are unable to release goods on collection

Please note your credit/debit card WILL NOT BE CHARGED until we have arranged the transfer of the TV to your chosen 3Pins branch. We DO NOT charge for items that are out of stock until the item is in stock and arrangements for collection have been made.
